Lightroom 4 is now available!

Adobe has released Lightroom 4 today.   From what I’ve read there aren’t any major new features, but Adobe has updated the process version and added a feature to create and publish photobooks directly to Blurb.

Adobe has also lowered the price of Lightroom 4 from $299 to $149.  The upgrade version is $79.  This is less expensive than many of the popular Photoshop/Lightroom plugins!

Lightroom 4 doesn’t support Windows XP.  I assume that this means that Photoshop CS6 won’t support XP either.  This is a good incentive for me to upgrade my operation system from XP to Windows 7 so that I can take advantage of all the nifty Lightroom features.
